Self-employed Cleaner / Housekeeper (m, f, x)

Purpose of the role 

Joivy UK is recruiting talented and reliable Self-employed Cleaner/Housekeeper (m, f, x) on a self-employed basis for luxury building households with high standards of cleanliness. 

You will report to the Housekeeping Supervisor and will be a key part of a close-knit friendly team. You will receive job proposals though our scheduling system and will independently manage your work, yet bound to our high standards and requirements. 

Key Responsibilities 

Main duties include but are not limited to: 

• Making beds. 

• Cleaning apartments and the communal areas 

• Dusting furniture. 

• Sweep / mop / hoovering floors. 

• Cleaning dishwasher and ovens. 

• Keeping the HK storages tidy. 

• Disposing rubbish from Bin Room to the designated bin collection area on collection days. 

• Hoovering and dusting, mopping, polishing of the communal areas including the lift. 

• Using only cleaning materials given and provided by Joivy. 

• Reporting damages where applicable. 

Requirements 

• English language essential. 

• Prior 4-5 hotel experience and or serviced apartments for at least 1 year a plus. 

• Although this is a self-employed position, we will also require right to work in the UK to be demonstrated. 

• The candidate needs to be familiar with responsibilities arising from their self-employed status. 

Work locations 

• Various apartments across Central London. The majority of our portfolio is within zone 1 and 2. Please note that we do not provide travel card 

Compensation  

• £14.5 GBP per hour, to be invoiced by the housekeeper to the company based on jobs carried out
